1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website unitechac.com and any air-conditioning installation, repair, maintenance, AMC or HVAC service ("Services") provided by Unitech AC Pvt Ltd ("Unitech AC", "we", "us", "our"). By booking a Service or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of services

Unitech AC provides residential and commercial air-conditioning services including, but not limited to:

• Service and deep-cleaning of window, split, cassette and ductable units;
• Installation, uninstallation and reinstallation of split AC units;
• Diagnostic and repair of all major brands;
• Gas refilling (R32, R410a, R22, R407c);
• VRF / VRV system design, supply, installation, balancing and commissioning;
• Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

The Services are currently provided across the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and most of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) area.

3. Booking & confirmation

You may book a Service by telephone, WhatsApp or via the enquiry form on the website. A booking is confirmed only after a slot is allotted and intimated to you via WhatsApp or telephone, along with the assigned engineer's name and photograph (where applicable).

4. Quotation & pricing

Indicative pricing is quoted on the telephone at the time of booking. A final, written quotation is provided on the engineer's tablet at your site after diagnosis. No additional charges are added during the work without your prior approval. If, during the work, an additional part or labour is found necessary, the engineer will pause work, re-quote, and proceed only on your written or verbal approval.

Prices listed on the website are starting prices for residential split & window units up to 2 tonne, within GHMC. Higher capacities, ductable/cassette systems, commercial work and out-of-area service are quoted separately.

5. Site access & cooperation

• You agree to provide safe access to the AC unit and necessary electrical points.
• For high-rise installations, you agree to coordinate with building management for ladder, scaffolding or rope-access permissions where required.
• You agree to keep pets and children at a safe distance from the work area during the visit.
• You confirm that you are the owner of the premises or an authorised tenant entitled to commission the Services.

6. Service warranty

Every service and repair carries a written six (6) month service warranty on the specific work performed. If the same fault recurs within this period, we will return and rectify the issue at no additional labour charge.

Spare parts replaced by us carry the manufacturer's warranty (if any) in addition. The service warranty does not cover:

• A different fault from the one originally repaired;
• Damage caused by power surges, water ingress, rodents or external impact;
• Tampering, repair or modification by a third party after our visit;
• Wear-and-tear of consumables (filters, drain pipes, etc.) under normal use.

7. Limitations & exclusions

• We do not undertake civil works (drilling load-bearing walls, electrical wiring beyond AC connection, false-ceiling alterations) unless expressly agreed in writing.
• For installations, the customer is responsible for providing a functional 15-amp three-pin socket and earthing as per IS-732.
• Old units handed over for disposal will be scrapped per local regulations; salvage value, if any, will be adjusted in the invoice.

8. Payment terms

Payment is due upon completion of the Service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted modes include cash, UPI (Google Pay / PhonePe / Paytm), debit/credit card and direct bank transfer. GST is charged at applicable rates; a tax invoice is issued for every transaction.

9. Cancellation

Cancellation by the customer is detailed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule a visit due to severe weather, civil unrest, engineer illness or any reason beyond our reasonable control; you will be notified at the earliest.

10. Liability

Unitech AC's total liability under any Service shall not exceed the value of the Service fee paid for that specific job. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss including (but not limited to) loss of business, perishable goods, or any pre-existing damage to the unit or premises.

11. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform Services arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, severe weather, civil unrest, government action, supply-chain disruption or utility failure.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
